i survived a night of football!

of course, three bottles of wine & two boxes of mini eclairs helped. oh, and so did the hot wings & the antipasti platter.

oh, and the commercials...although i think it's safe to say that this year's commercials weren't nearly as hilarious as i remember from years past.

well...

except for this one.

i laughed my butt off. {and then everyone was scared to open the bag of doritos in the kitchen.}

what makes me so sad is that I was not able to see the commercials this year!! The Superbowl was being shown live at 7 am and so I decided to record it for the commercials not realizing that they would show Australian commercials and not the American ones. :( Actually, people here hadn't heard of the commercials of the Superbowl, which surprised me.

Mmmm, wings. I actually watched the whole game. Quite proud of myself. The commercials weren't great, though I did like the Etrade milkaholic one.

That was one of my favorite commercials too. And it sounds like your Superbowl experience was way better than mine... I had to watch the Colts get spanked and I was completely SOBER! I know, it's beyond cruel. Next year I'm coming to your house :)
