Ebony & Ivory

Last Friday we decided to eat out and, on our way to Red Robin {RR's burgers are so-so...oh, how I wish we had a Plan B in my area...best burgers ever!}, THIS Michael Jackson song came on the radio.

Malia: "This is Michael Jackson singing, right?"

Me: "Yes, it sure is." {meanwhile, the hubs is trying to disco dance while driving...bad idea}

Malia: "Wasn't he brown when he sang this song?"

Me {absolutely mortified}: "What?!"

Malia: "He used to be brown, right?"

Me: "Yes."

Malia: "Well, when did he turn white?!"

I'm so glad we were parked & walking into the restaurant by that time. No disrespect to Michael Jackson {may he R.I.P.} nor to his friends, family & fans, but this just goes to show the innocence & inquisitiveness of children. Their {brutal, at times } honesty is quite humbling, don't you think?

I have to say, that's really quite funny! Yep, kids are brutally honest. My baby girl likes to tell me NO when I ask if I look pretty today. Nice!
