beverly hills, 90210. that's right. i'm not talking about the cw remake either. no, i'm talking about the original.watching re-runs of 90210 on soapnet used to be the highlight of my day until they changed the time. but, that's my dvr is for, right? and, yes, i still get tears in my eyes when donna & david get married during the series finale.oh, and in case you're wondering? yeah, i'm on team dylan.

seriously, y'all, i need an intervention. the picture isn't mine, but i'm sure i own that much nail polish, if not, more. zoya, opi, essie {which isn't my fave}, julep, orly...reds, pinks, grays, greens, blues, nudes...glitters, mattes, glow in the dark...{yes, glow in the dark!}fortunately, my 10 year old daughter shares my obsession, so i can justify this guilty pleasure.

spam fried rice.yeah, go ahead and scrunch up your nose and say, "ew!"a) i'm half-chinese. i'll probably be buried with my rice cooker.b) i was born in hawaii & lived there {off & on} until i was eight. they eat a lot of spam in hawaii.c) this is my comfort food {espesh if my mom is the one making it, although adam makes a mean fried rice, too}.

90210 - Circa 1993

I am not ashamed to admit that re-runs of Beverly Hills, 90210 are near the top of my guilty pleasures list. God bless the Soap Opera Network and thank goodness for my DVR.

Tonight's episode was the West Beverly High Class of 1993 Senior Prom. You know, the episode where Donna gets blitzed off of champagne at David Silver's dad's house (and almost doesn't get to graduate), condoms were given out as prom favors (courtesy of the Math Club..."1+1=3 if you don't use me"...), Cathy Dennis is the entertainment and Andrea's date gets the flu so Brandon Walsh comes to the rescue. This is NOT the episode where Kelly & Brenda show up in the same exact dress. That was some other formal.

Ah, the memories.

I graduated high school two years after the crew from West Beverly...and we weren't even allowed to have our prom at a hotel. And, we damn sure didn't have a famous pop star for the entertainment.
